  I am not so different from you. I love my family, God and country.

I work hard and try to be a good neighbor and friend. The only thing that made me different was my extreme weight. In October 2006, I tipped the scales at 478 pounds. I’d been 400 pounds or more during the past 10 years of my life. But, I wasn’t always overweight – I’d been a star athlete in college and a runway model in my 20’s.
